Wine Pairing Recipe: Smoked Salmon Flatbread
Goes great with rosé and can be made gluten-free
This smoked salmon flatbread is excellent as an appetizer or just add a salad for a simple summer meal. You can even grill it on the BBQ as part of your backyard cookout. Pair it with our Rosé of Cab Franc and you're set.
Our customer Marney Tyler adapted this recipe from Napa General Store for me by using a prepared gluten-free Cauliflower pizza crust. You can also make it with a regular pre-made pizza crust or flatbread.
Smoked Salmon Flatbread Recipe

- Fresh Chopped Dill
- Pickled Red Onion
Night before: Mix the crème fraiche and chopped dill, cover and refrigerate.
Day of: Pre-cook the pizza crust according to directions. Spread the crème fraiche over entire pizza, then layer on the smoked salmon. Put back in oven for 3 minutes. Remove and top with arugula, capers, and pickled onions. Drizzle the dill crème fraiche mixture over the top. Slice and enjoy!
